Founder Sharon Fontaine grew up in Peckham, South London. As a small child, she learned to cook with her older siblings and soon discovered she had a natural talent for creating exciting flavours. She also discovered she was a natural-born entrepreneur — a drive that led to create her first hot-pepper sauce in 2015. It was the beginning of her passionate quest to revolutionise the UK’s hot-sauce market. Ten years on, her dream has crystalised in Hot Sauces Cartel, which blends tradition and innovation with Sharon’s vision and ambition.
