Eggy Beans on Toast

A quick recipe of scrambled eggs and beans with toast with lashings of butter! A childhood fav of mine. Never gets old!

15 Minutes to cook

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 tin of baked beans
  • 4 Tablespoons of butter (any will do)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 Tablespoon Hot Pepper Sauce or 2 if you like it hot and spicy

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Melt 2 tablespoon in a frying pan
  2. Whisk eggs and add to melted butter
  3. Wait for the eggs to form and then use a wooden spoon and scramble the eggs
  4. Add the beans and then add 2 Tablespoon of butter to eggs & beans mixture
  5. Simmer Gently
  6. Add Hot Pepper Sauce
  7. Prepare toast & butter – or have with 2 slices of bread and butter
  8. Season to taste with salt and pepper
  9. Serve up and Enjoy

This meal can be eaten at breakfast, lunch or dinner and because it is so quick to make, if your diners want seconds then it can be made in a flash of a pan.
